About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager, Telecom Infrastructure Assembly to lead telecom cabinet integration and infrastructure assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing production performance, workforce management, quality standards, operational efficiency, and safety compliance across assembly operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in telecom infrastructure, manufacturing, or assembly operations and possess a proven ability to lead supervisors and production teams while driving continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

Oversee end-to-end telecom infrastructure assembly operations, including telecom cabinet integration, shelving, racking, and equipment installation

Manage production schedules, staffing plans, workflow coordination, and operational performance

Monitor KPIs such as throughput, labor efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery

Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions to maintain production goals


Team Leadership & Workforce Development:

Lead, mentor, and develop Assembly Supervisors and production teams

Establish performance expectations and accountability standards

Support hiring, workforce planning, employee development, and succession planning

Promote cross-training and continuous skill development across teams


Process Improvement & Operational Excellence:

Develop and improve scalable assembly processes and standard operating procedures

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, productivity, and quality

Analyze production data and workflows to identify improvement opportunities

Collaborate with Engineering teams to improve manufacturability and assembly efficiency

Utilize digital tools and AI-enabled technologies to improve operational performance


Quality & Compliance:

Ensure assembly work meets engineering specifications and customer requirements

Partner with Quality teams to resolve defects and implement corrective actions

Maintain compliance with company standards and audit requirements


Safety Management:

Promote and enforce OSHA and workplace safety standards

Lead safety initiatives, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation

Foster a proactive safety culture across all assembly operations


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, and Operations teams

Ensure material availability and production readiness

Communicate operational performance, risks, and improvement plans to leadership


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

7–10+ years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, telecom infrastructure, or related operations

3–5+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors or multiple production teams

Strong knowledge of production planning, workflow optimization, and assembly operations

Experience with telecom infrastructure builds, rack integration, or similar environments preferred

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and production specifications

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Teams


Work Environment & Schedule:

Non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment with seasonal heat and cold exposure

Regular presence on the production floor required

12-hour rotating shift schedule (2-2-3 rotation)

Includes weekend rotation

Frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
