About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of complex Mechanical, HVAC, and MEP construction projects from planning through project closeout. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in construction management, project scheduling, estimating, cost control, client coordination, and field operations. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, field teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the complete lifecycle of Mechanical/HVAC/MEP construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.

Coordinate daily activities with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives.

Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, manpower planning, and equipment allocation.

Track project costs, productivity, and financial performance to meet profitability goals.

Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, progress billing, and project documentation.

Solicit, review, and negotiate subcontractor and vendor proposals.

Monitor construction progress while ensuring compliance with project specifications and contract requirements.

Enforce safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies on-site.

Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and company leadership.

Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain project schedules and budgets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

5+ years of Project Management experience in Mechanical, HVAC, or MEP construction.

Experience managing commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects is preferred.

Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, estimating, budgeting, job costing, and project financial management.

Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and field operations.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).

Experience using construction management software such as Autodesk Build, Spectrum ERP, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is preferred.
