Contract Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 31, 2026
• End Date: November 28, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Shift: 8-hour evening shift
• Schedule: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Weekend: Every 3rd weekend rotation
• Candidate Type: Travel only
• Radius Rule: No local candidates within 50 miles
• Overtime: Daily OT after 24 hours and weekly OT after 40 hours, based on applicable multiplier

Position Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist specialty
• Blood Bank experience is required
• Must be a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
• Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) will NOT be considered
• Experience with clinical laboratory specimen testing and analysis
• Clinic laboratory experience preferred

Required Certifications

Candidates must hold one of the following recognized certifications:

• ASCP
• NCA
• AMT
• AAB
• HHS

Holiday Requirements

The candidate must work 2 major holidays out of the following 3:

• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Day

Additionally, the candidate must work 1 minor holiday:

• Friday after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve
• New Year's Eve
