Department: Radiology (MRI)

Shift: Evenings (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM)

Hours: 36 hours/week (Weekends required)

Pay Range: $38.71 - $50.18/hour

Job Summary

Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join its Radiology Department. In this role, you will perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist while ensuring patient safety and delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and follow MRI safety protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Work collaboratively with Radiologists and healthcare staff.
• Deliver excellent patient care and customer service.

Requirements

• Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography (Required).
• ARRT Certification in MRI (Preferred).
• New York State License in Radiologic Technology.
• NYS IV Contrast Certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire).
• BLS Certification (or obtain within 3 months of hire).
• Previous MRI experience preferred.
