Location: Baylor Scott & White Medical Center
Pay Rate: $33–$48/hour
Schedule: Friday–Sunday
Shift Options: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
Job Summary
The MRI Technologist performs MRI procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the general supervision of a Radiologist. The technologist follows established protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images for the evaluation of diseases and injuries.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and explain the examination process.
- Operate MRI equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality.
- Follow MRI safety procedures and departmental guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with Radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of experience accepted.
- BLS: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire/transfer.
- Certification: One of the following required:
- ARRT(MR) – Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- ARRT(R) – Radiography
- ARMRIT – American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
Compensation
$33–$48/hour
