Facility: Genesis.

Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am

Start Date: ASAP

Overtime: Available

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the healthcare team at Genesis – North Cape Center. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care and support residents with daily living activities while maintaining their comfort, dignity, and safety.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active CNA License
• BLS Certification
• COVID-19 Vaccination Card
• Updated Resume

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and report vital signs and changes in residents' conditions.
• Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and wheelchairs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow HIPAA requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Follow infection-control and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare team members to provide quality resident care.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply:

• Long-term care or nursing home experience
• Assisted living experience
• Dementia or memory care
• Developmental disability care
• Hospice or comfort care
• Acute care or hospital experience
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic patient-care procedures
