Job Title: Oil & Gas Attorney (3–5 Years Experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Attorney with 3–5 years of transactional legal experience to join a growing Energy practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated energy transactions, collaborate with experienced legal professionals, and support clients across the oil and gas industry.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and within a team-oriented environment. Candidates with significant experience drafting oil and gas title opinions are highly preferred. Prior landman experience is considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of oil and gas transactional documents.

Prepare and analyze oil and gas title opinions.

Conduct legal research related to energy and natural resources matters.

Advise clients on oil and gas transactions, title issues, and regulatory matters.

Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop practical legal solutions.

Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality work product.

Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and effective communication.

Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

3–5 years of transactional legal experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry.

Strong drafting, analytical, and legal research skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Strong academic credentials.

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive experience drafting oil and gas title opinions.

Prior landman experience.

Active license to practice law in Colorado or ability to obtain licensure.
