Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Personal Injury Attorney to manage a full caseload of motor vehicle accident and personal injury matters from intake through resolution. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills, with the ability to effectively represent clients throughout all stages of the claims and litigation process.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage personal injury and motor vehicle accident cases from initial consultation through settlement or trial.
Conduct client interviews, evaluate claims, and develop effective case strategies.
Investigate claims, gather evidence, and coordinate with experts, medical providers, and other relevant parties.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement demands, and legal correspondence.
Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
Attend and represent clients at hearings, mediations, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and legal developments.
Ensure compliance with court deadlines, procedural requirements, and firm policies.
Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other legal professionals to ensure efficient case management.
Provide exceptional client service while maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
Required Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license and good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
Experience handling personal injury, motor vehicle accident, or civil litigation matters preferred.
Strong knowledge of Texas personal injury law, insurance claims, and litigation procedures.
Excellent legal research, analytical, and case evaluation skills.
Strong drafting abilities for legal pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement documentation.
Effective negotiation, courtroom advocacy, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Commitment to client advocacy, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in personal injury litigation.
Trial, mediation, or deposition experience.
Fluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
Experience working with diverse client populations.
