Job Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility, transfers, balance, and functional activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately and in accordance with facility requirements.
• Follow facility policies and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

• Active PTA license eligible to work in Maine
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification, if required by the facility
• Previous healthcare, rehabilitation, SNF, or long-term care experience preferred
• Ability to commit to the full contract assignment
