Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Type: Full-time | On-site | Outpatient

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations and assess functional limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy.
• Treat patients with orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, post-surgical conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, body mechanics, and self-management.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and compliant EMR documentation.
• Coordinate care with physicians, pain-management providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in continuing education and follow HIPAA, ethical, and professional standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active New York State Physical Therapist license.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Patient-centered and compassionate approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience.
• Experience with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, or chronic pain patients.
• Experience with WebPT or another EMR system.
