This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial plumbing estimating experience who enjoys working on large-scale projects and collaborating with contractors, vendors, and project teams.

Position: Plumbing Estimator

Location: Columbus, OH

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Responsibilities

• Prepare plumbing job takeoffs and pricing.
• Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Work with estimating software and maintain estimating databases/spreadsheets.
• Coordinate project turnover from estimating to project management.
• Work with vendors and subcontractors to secure scopes and final pricing.
• Prepare and review scope letters.
• Lead and finalize job estimates.
• Conduct scope reviews with customers and clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial plumbing or heating estimating experience OR completion of an approved apprenticeship program with Journeyman-level experience.
• Strong understanding of plumbing and piping installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong math, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Journeyman Plumber or HVAC license/equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to perform job site walks, climb ladders, and navigate construction environments.
