Project Architect / Designer

This is a full-time, in-studio role for an experienced professional with a strong background in high-end residential design and BIM-based project delivery.

Location: Cold Spring, NY

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and construction documentation from schematic design through construction administration

• Develop and coordinate Revit models and BIM documentation throughout project phases

• Collaborate with leadership on design development, detailing, and material selection

• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and local building departments

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and consultant coordination

• Conduct site visits to ensure construction aligns with design intent

• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio environment

• Prepare presentations, renderings, and client-facing materials as needed

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in residential or high-end design architecture firms

• Architectural licensure (RA) or progress toward licensure preferred

• Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM-based project delivery (required)

• Experience with luxury or custom residential projects

• Good understanding of New York State building codes and residential construction methods

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be local to Cold Spring, NY or open to relocation for an in-studio role

Technical Skills

Revit, BIM Coordination, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape/Lumion, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Construction Administration tools.
