About the job:

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead healthcare and institutional projects from early planning through construction. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects, collaborate directly with clients and consultants, and contribute to a growing architecture practice focused on healthcare environments.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and project management experience while maintaining a commitment to design excellence and client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead projects through all phases, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.

Ensure design quality, technical accuracy, code compliance, and successful project delivery.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.

Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and resource allocation.

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams throughout the design and construction process.

Oversee the production and review of detailed construction drawings and specifications.

Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to develop and manage project documentation.

Conduct quality control reviews to ensure adherence to project requirements and industry standards.

Mentor and support junior architects and emerging professionals.

Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project planning discussions.


Required Qualifications:

Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch. or M.Arch.) from an accredited institution.

Approximately 5–6 years of architectural experience with significant project leadership responsibilities.

Experience leading projects from concept through construction completion.

Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Solid understanding of building codes, construction methods, technical detailing, and documentation standards.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in healthcare, institutional, or medical facility design.

Familiarity with visualization and coordination tools such as Enscape, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of healthcare planning, regulatory requirements, and facility design best practices.

Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure is highly desirable.
