About the Job:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of customer projects within a manufacturing environment. This role serves as the central point of coordination between customers, suppliers, sales, operations, purchasing, and production to ensure projects progress efficiently from order confirmation through final delivery.

The ideal candidate has experience in project coordination, procurement, production planning, and cross-functional communication. Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments are highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate projects from order release through completion while monitoring scope, schedules, milestones, and project documentation.

Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely execution and delivery.

Prepare material calculations, bills of materials, and master material lists.

Coordinate supplier quotations, purchase orders, material availability, and delivery schedules.

Track procurement activities and maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records.

Review engineering drawings, specifications, and fabrication requirements to support production readiness.

Perform fabrication-related calculations and ensure manufacturing requirements are met.

Serve as the primary point of contact between customers, suppliers, sales, operations, and production teams.

Provide regular project status updates and communicate schedule changes or potential risks.

Identify project issues proactively and recommend corrective actions to maintain timelines.

Maintain accurate project files, reports, and documentation.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project coordination, scheduling, and operational efficiency.

Ensure customer requirements are effectively communicated and aligned with internal teams.

Assist with project reporting, production tracking, and operational planning.


Required Qualifications:

2–3+ years of experience in project coordination, project administration, business operations, procurement, purchasing, executive support, or a related role.

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, dashboards, reporting, trackers, and data analysis).

Experience using ERP or MRP systems for purchasing, inventory management, production planning, or project tracking is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, or fabrication specifications.

Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software is a plus.

Knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication, industrial production, supply chain, or stainless-steel manufacturing processes is preferred.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
