About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Project Executive – Healthcare Construction to lead the successful delivery of large-scale healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing project execution, financial performance, client relationships, team development, and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and infection control requirements.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing complex healthcare facilities, leading multidisciplinary teams, and delivering projects valued at $50M+ within commercial construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the execution of large healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through project completion.

Serve as the primary executive contact for owners, healthcare clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and key stakeholders.

Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, risk management, and project closeout.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, permitting requirements, infection control protocols, and OSHA safety standards.

Oversee project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, billing, cash flow, and profitability.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships while supporting repeat business and new project opportunities.

Lead contract administration, subcontractor negotiations, procurement strategies, and vendor management.

Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field teams.

Drive collaboration across multiple projects and geographic regions while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget objectives.

Implement Lean Construction principles, construction technology, and continuous process improvements.

Monitor project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.

Ensure consistent reporting to executive leadership on project performance and operational metrics.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

12+ years of progressive commercial construction experience.

8+ years managing healthcare construction projects.

Proven experience delivering healthcare facilities valued at $50M+ from preconstruction through closeout.

Strong knowledge of healthcare construction regulations, permitting, infection control, life safety, and compliance requirements.

Extensive experience with project financial management, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.

Demonstrated ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams across multiple projects and locations.

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP)

Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

LEED Accreditation

Experience with Lean Construction methodologies
