Position Summary

The Project Manager – Roadway & Utilities is responsible for managing roadway and underground utility construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role oversees schedule, budget, subcontractors, and compliance with public agency requirements while ensuring safety, quality, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage roadway, drainage, water, sewer, and utility infrastructure projects
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
• Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers
• Administer contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local roadway and utility standards
• Enforce safety and quality control requirements
• Serve as primary point of contact with public agencies and inspectors

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in roadway and/or utility construction
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience with public-sector infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of roadway and underground utility construction practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
