About the job:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction through final closeout. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, quality control, and client coordination. This role requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage the complete project lifecycle, including pre-construction, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved.

Oversee project budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and change order management.

Lead subcontractor procurement, contract negotiations, buyout processes, and material acquisition.

Review and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, permits, and quality assurance records.

Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and budget performance.

Monitor construction progress, quality standards, and safety compliance throughout project execution.

Prepare project status reports and communicate progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Ensure successful project turnover, punch list completion, and final closeout documentation.


Required Qualifications:

5–7+ years of progressively responsible construction project management experience.

Proven experience managing commercial tenant fit-outs, renovations, or construction projects valued at $2M+.

Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Proficiency with Procore Construction Management Software and Microsoft Project.

Strong knowledge of project budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and contract administration.

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.


Preferred Certifications:

PMP (Project Management Professional)

OSHA 30 Certification

LEED Green Building Certification
