Job Type: On-Site, Full-Time

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage large-scale design-build and construction projects from preconstruction through completion. The ideal candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate design and construction activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple design-build and construction projects simultaneously, including projects valued at $10M+.

Lead and coordinate Architecture/Engineering (A/E) teams across all disciplines.

Develop and maintain project design schedules to ensure timely submissions and project milestones.

Review design submittals, construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents for compliance and constructability.

Coordinate with subcontractors and project stakeholders to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Prepare and manage contract drawing packages and project specifications.

Identify permitting requirements and oversee preconstruction permitting processes.

Represent the company in project meetings, design reviews, conferences, and presentations.

Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Manage project risk, resolve design and construction issues, and ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.

Administer contracts, subcontracts, invoicing, modifications, scheduling, and project documentation.

Support and mentor junior staff members.

Oversee construction phase activities when required.


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience in design and/or construction management.

Proven experience managing multiple projects valued at approximately $10M or greater.

Strong Design-Build project management experience.

Ability to read and interpret complex construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong understanding of construction industry standards, processes, and project controls.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with Federal Government clients.

Professional certifications such as PE, EIT, PMP, or Architectural Registration are a plus.

Experience managing both design and construction phases of projects.


Additional Information:

Position is based in Framingham, MA.

Domestic travel to project sites may be required.

Candidates should possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage fast-paced, complex projects effectively.
