QA Tester / CJIS Application Tester

Location: Hartford, CT | Remote with occasional onsite meetings

Contract: 12 Months | Pay: $50/hr

Role Overview:

Seeking an experienced QA/Application Tester to support CJIS/CISS applications. The candidate will perform manual and automation testing, API/web services testing, SQL validation, defect management, and test reporting for complex integrated systems.

Key Skills:

5–7 years of QA/Software Testing experience
Manual, Functional, Integration, Regression & UAT Testing
Automation Testing & Framework Development
Java or C#
SOAP UI / Postman and Web Services/API Testing
XML / NIEM XML
Strong SQL Server and complex SQL queries
Data-driven automation testing & Extent Reports
GitHub and DevOps integration
Requirements Validation & Traceability Matrix
Defect Management and Test Reporting
Microsoft Excel
Experience with SOA technologies

Preferred: IBM Rational Jazz, CJIS/Government experience, and large-scale integrated systems.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and ability to pass a CJIS background investigation.
