Quality Manager – Cheese Manufacturing

📍 Location: Benton Harbor, MI

💼 Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all food safety, quality assurance, and compliance initiatives within the manufacturing facility
• Manage and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with FDA, USDA, SQF/BRC standards
• Oversee GMPs, HACCP, SSOPs, CAPA processes, and audit readiness
• Lead internal, external, customer, and regulatory food quality audits
• Supervise laboratory operations, testing procedures, calibration programs, and product quality analysis
• Partner closely with production teams to maintain quality standards and resolve non-conformance issues
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across food safety and quality programs
• Train and mentor QA/QC teams while promoting a strong food safety culture

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing quality management
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, SQF/BRC standards, GMPs, HACCP, and audit processes
• Experience managing food testing laboratory operations
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Microbiology, or related field preferred
• HACCP, SQF Practitioner, or PCQI certifications are a plus
• Bilingual skills are welcomed but not required
