Travel RN – Operating Room (OR)

Position: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (RN OR)

Facility: URMC-Strong Memorial Hospital

Contract: 13–26 Weeks

Shift: 3x12 hrs, Days, Evenings, Nights, Rotating

Blended Hourly Pay: $74

Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1512

Weekly Gross: $2664

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative process.
• Support surgical procedures while maintaining patient safety and sterile technique.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the multidisciplinary surgical team.
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and surgical protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience with the specialty required..
• BLS, ACLS, and RN License
• Previous Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, patient safety, infection prevention, and sterile technique.
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity Level 4 hospital environment.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts based on departmental scheduling needs.
