Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with established nursing standards, facility policies, and state regulations. The RN is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes in a post-acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
• Provide patient and family education regarding care and treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
• Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs as appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum experience requirements per facility or agency guidelines
• Current BLS certification (additional certifications as required by facility)
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a post-acute care environment
