RF ATE Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced RF ATE Test Engineer to support validation and testing of wireless semiconductor devices. This role involves designing and developing automated test solutions, executing test cases, analyzing results, and ensuring products meet performance, reliability, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize testing processes and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage automated test equipment (ATE) solutions for RF/wireless devices
• Create and execute test cases to validate functionality and performance
• Analyze test data and identify issues or improvements
• Develop and maintain automated test programs
• Collaborate with engineering, validation, and production teams
• Optimize testing processes and improve product quality
• Support system validation and verification activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in RF ATE test engineering or similar role
• Hands-on experience with Advantest V93K (Wavescale) and SmarTest 8
• Strong understanding of communications theory and signal processing
• Experience in RF testing and wireless systems
• Proficiency with lab/test equipment (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.)
• Experience with communication protocols (FPGA, SerDes, I2C, Ethernet, PCI, USB, SPI, UART)
• Programming skills in Java (required); Python or R is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) systems
• Background in semiconductor or wireless communication industries
• Knowledge of system-level validation and verification
• Understanding of quality standards and testing methodologies
• Experience leading or mentoring teams
