About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Manager to drive business development efforts and expand market presence within the middle-market sector. The ideal candidate is a proven sales professional with a strong hunter mentality, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a track record of generating new business opportunities. This role focuses on developing strategic partnerships with business owners, CFOs, vendors, and private equity-backed organizations while delivering customized financial solutions that support client growth and operational objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within target markets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with middle-market companies, executives, vendors, and referral partners.

Generate qualified leads through networking, cold outreach, market research, and business development activities.

Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and account management.

Understand client financial and operational needs and present tailored financing solutions.

Collaborate with internal teams to structure and deliver solutions that meet client objectives.

Maintain an active pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.

Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and competitive activity.

Provide excellent customer service and ongoing account support to ensure long-term client satisfaction.


Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of business development, sales, origination, account management, equipment finance, leasing, commercial finance, or related experience.

Demonstrated success in lead generation, prospecting, and new business acquisition.

Strong hunter mentality with a results-driven approach.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience within equipment financing, leasing, commercial lending, banking, or financial services.

Experience working with middle-market companies and executive-level decision makers.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
