About the Job:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our growing construction and remodeling team. This role is responsible for building relationships with residential and commercial clients, identifying project opportunities, qualifying leads, and guiding customers through the initial stages of the sales process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:

Engage with prospective residential and commercial customers to understand project needs and requirements.

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person consultations.

Qualify leads and identify potential sales opportunities.

Schedule and attend on-site meetings and project consultations.

Gather project details and coordinate with estimators and project teams to prepare proposals and estimates.

Maintain accurate customer records, activities, and sales pipelines within CRM and tracking systems.

Follow up on proposals, quotations, and open opportunities to support successful project conversion.

Assist customers in understanding project scopes, timelines, and service offerings.

Collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, and administrative staff to ensure smooth project handoffs.

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.

Represent the organization professionally at meetings, site visits, and community events.

Support business development initiatives and contribute to company growth objectives.


Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Sales experience with lead generation, qualification, and follow-up activities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email platforms, and CRM systems.

Ability to manage multiple leads, appointments, and priorities simultaneously.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to work on-site and travel locally for customer meetings and project visits.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in construction, remodeling, home improvement, or a related industry.

Familiarity with residential and commercial construction terminology and processes.

Experience preparing estimates, proposals, or project scopes.

Background in business development, outside sales, or account management.
