Job Role : Senior Engineering Geologist / Tunnel Engineer

Job Location : New York City, NY | Full-Time 

Seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Geologist / Tunnel Engineer for a high-profile, multi-year underground construction project in NYC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rock face mapping and rock mass stability assessments.
• Evaluate underground conditions and recommend temporary support, including shotcrete and rock bolts.
• Inspect tunnel, cavern, and shaft construction.
• Support TBM and drill-and-blast excavation activities.
• Prepare geological maps, field reports, and technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Valid New York State P.G. or P.E. license.
• Extensive underground construction and tunneling experience.
• Hands-on rock mapping, rock mass characterization, and rock support experience.
• Strong field documentation and communication skills.
• Project Duration: Approximately 2–3 years.
