Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Litigation Associate Attorney with at least five years of financial services litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have experience representing financial institutions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and handling matters through various stages of litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, organize, and draft complex litigation pleadings, including:
- Demurrers
- Motions to dismiss
- Motions to strike
- Discovery motions
- Summary judgment motions
- Lead e-discovery and fact development.
- Propound and respond to written discovery.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Appear in state and federal courts for conferences, motions, and other pre-trial matters.
- Assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy.
- Handle alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.
- Conduct investigations and participate in pre-suit negotiations.
- Analyze client challenges from both legal and economic perspectives.
- Manage a high volume of matters while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Work independently while collaborating with senior attorneys and partners.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of financial services litigation experience.
- Experience representing financial institutions.
- Significant experience with motion practice, discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
- Experience with state and federal court proceedings.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong strategic and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Active California Bar license required.

- FCRA
- TCPA
- UCC
- EFTA
- TILA
- UCL / UDAP
- E-discovery and fact development
- Arbitration and mediation
- Financial institution litigation

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $245,000–$275,000, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, location, and other factors.
