About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead commercial construction and glazing projects from pre-construction through project completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, client relationships, and field operations while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, architects, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Plan, direct, and coordinate all phases of assigned projects to ensure successful execution and completion.

Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement activities, and resource allocation.

Coordinate engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, and installation activities.

Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to generate accurate take-offs and estimates.

Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, and closeout documentation.

Track material procurement, lead times, and delivery schedules.

Oversee field installation activities and ensure quality standards are met.

Prepare monthly billing requisitions and support project accounting functions.

Monitor project performance, analyze costs, and ensure profitability targets are achieved.

Conduct site visits and maintain regular communication with project stakeholders.

Coordinate project punch lists, warranties, and final closeout processes.


Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.

3+ years of project management experience in commercial construction projects.

Experience managing project documentation, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and field operations.

Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, closeouts, and punch-list processes.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Procore.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and project stakeholders.

Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug testing.


Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of experience within the glass and glazing industry.

Experience with curtainwall systems, storefronts, entrances, canopies, handrails, skylights, and interior glazing systems.

Knowledge of fabrication, installation, and commercial glazing operations.
