About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Residential Project Manager to lead high-end custom residential construction projects from preconstruction through final completion. This role is ideal for a construction professional with strong leadership skills, extensive project management experience, and expertise in overseeing multiple custom home projects while driving operational excellence.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position also plays a key role in improving workflows, implementing efficient project management systems, and supporting the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple custom residential construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

Review architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and short-term look-ahead plans.

Oversee preconstruction activities, estimating support, documentation, budgets, and change orders.

Coordinate communication between office staff, field teams, subcontractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and clients.

Monitor project progress, identify risks, and resolve issues proactively.

Ensure projects meet quality, safety, budget, and scheduling objectives.

Improve operational workflows and project management systems to enhance efficiency.

Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Support continuous process improvement and organizational growth initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of residential construction project management experience.

Strong background in custom or luxury residential construction.

Advanced experience with Buildertrend.

Experience managing preconstruction, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and project coordination.

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and construction documents.

Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

High level of professionalism, accountability, and integrity.

Must currently reside in Hawaii or be willing to relocate.

Hawaii residential construction experience is preferred.
