About the job:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Service Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and customer service for advanced In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) medical devices. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in medical electronics, field service operations, and customer support while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage customer complaints, equipment malfunctions, and technical service requests from distributors and end users.

Deliver timely and effective technical support to customers, internal sales teams, and marketing personnel.

Perform on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex diagnostic systems and equipment.

Conduct field visits to gather customer feedback and market intelligence.

Repair, test, and maintain returned equipment and system components.

Provide technical and service training to customers and channel partners.

Support service contract discussions, parts ordering, logistics coordination, and administrative activities.

Prepare routine service reports, business trip reports, and technical documentation.

Participate in technical training sessions, product updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Assist with inventory control, spare parts management, and equipment tracking.

Research and comply with local regulatory requirements related to service operations, reporting, and product support.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and operational efficiency.


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Medical Technology, or a related technical field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience servicing In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) medical devices.

Strong understanding of medical device maintenance, diagnostics, and repair procedures.

Knowledge of procurement and service processes within healthcare organizations.

Familiarity with industry service standards, technical documentation, and support procedures.

Experience providing technical support in a customer-facing environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently, including short-notice assignments.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting laboratory diagnostic equipment and clinical applications.

Background in field service engineering, biomedical equipment servicing, or technical support within the healthcare industry.

Knowledge of medical device regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

Experience conducting customer training and technical workshops.
