Position Overview

We are seeking a Software QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications through manual and automated testing. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver bug-free, user-friendly software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Conduct regression, functional, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, and review meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software QA (manual and/or automation).
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with testing tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with API testing and SQL queries.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus.

Nice to Have

• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
• Experience in cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
