Position Details:


  • Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Facility: Queens Boulevard Extended Care Facility
  • Location: 61-11 Queens Blvd, Woodside, NY 11377
  • Assignment: Local / Travel Contract
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday
  • Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Hours: 40 hours/week
  • Blended Hourly Pay: $60.05/hour
  • Weekly Stipend: $1,722
  • Weekly Gross Pay: $2,402


Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities


As an SLP, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment services for patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Conduct appropriate assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy based on patient needs.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Utilize alternative and augmentative communication methods when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patient-centered care.
  • Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all patient interactions.


Education:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Completion of an accredited degree program associated with Speech-Language Pathology.


License & Certification:

  • New York State Speech-Language Pathology license required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Limited license accepted/required for Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates.
