Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural CAD Technician located in Childress, TX. The Structural CAD Technician will be responsible for drafting, updating, and modifying structural designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Day-to-day tasks include producing detailed drawings, assisting in project coordination, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring all designs meet industry standards and guidelines. The role also requires maintaining design documentation and troubleshooting software or technical issues as needed.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Technical Support, with a focus on assisting teams in resolving design-related technical challenges
Experience in Computer Maintenance and Troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance
Skills in Computer Repair and managing Operating Systems for efficient workflow
Proficiency in using CAD software and tools for structural design and drafting
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and meet project deadlines
Educational background in engineering, drafting, or a related field is preferred
Familiarity with building codes and structural design standards is a plus
