Structural Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in structural design and drafting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using AutoCAD and Revit and will support structural design, drafting, coordination, and project documentation for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare structural drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Assist in structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and project teams throughout project phases.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals for compliance with project specifications.
• Support project execution from design development through construction administration.
• Conduct site visits and assist with field observations as required.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and engineering standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 2–5 years of structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering fundamentals and construction methods.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT certification preferred.
• Experience with commercial, residential, or mixed-use building projects.
• Familiarity with structural analysis software such as ETABS, RAM, STAAD, or SAP2000.
• Knowledge of NYC building codes and permitting processes.

Work Environment

• Full-time onsite role in Manhattan, NY.
