The firm collaborates closely with architects, developers, and contractors to provide efficient, innovative, and practical structural solutions.


Position Summary

Client is seeking a Structural Engineer (2–5 years of experience) to join its team in Garrison, NY. This role will work directly with the Head Professional Engineer (PE) and contribute to the analysis and design of building structures across multiple materials and project types. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to grow technically and professionally.


Key Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood structures

Design gravity and lateral load-resisting systems

Support single-family residential and low-rise commercial building projects

Conduct historic structure evaluation and preservation design

Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and detailed design documents

Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other project stakeholders

Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information)

Participate in site visits and construction observation activities

Assist in preparing technical reports and project documentation


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering

2–5 years of relevant structural engineering experience

Proficiency with structural analysis and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment


Preferred Qualifications

FE/EIT certification or actively pursuing licensure
