Facility Manager / Plant Manager – Supply Chain & Distribution

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX

Work Type: Full-time, On-site

Reports to: VP of Operations

Position Summary

We are looking for a Supply Chain / Facility Manager to lead U.S. distribution, warehouse, logistics, inventory, and supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing warehouse/facility operations, distribution, transportation, inventory, demand planning, and distributor relationships. This person will work closely with Sales, Commercial, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product availability and achieve a 99% On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) customer service target.

The role will initially focus on U.S. operations, with potential responsibility for international markets as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

Distribution & Facility Management

• Manage day-to-day warehouse, distribution, and facility operations.
• Develop and improve distribution strategies to support business growth.
• Manage regional warehouse and distribution network activities.
• Standardize supply chain processes and best practices across locations.

Logistics & Transportation

• Oversee transportation, freight, third-party logistics, and last-mile delivery.
• Monitor logistics providers for cost, service, and delivery performance.
• Improve delivery timelines while reducing transportation costs.
• Ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.

Inventory & Demand Planning

• Manage inventory levels, replenishment, and product availability.
• Partner with Sales and Commercial teams on demand forecasting.
• Coordinate demand and supply plans with central supply chain/planning teams.
• Reduce stock-outs, excess inventory, and obsolete inventory.
• Establish effective inventory monitoring and replenishment processes.

Distributor & Customer Operations

• Manage relationships with distributors and institutional customers.
• Monitor distributor performance against company requirements.
• Support distributor onboarding, training, and operational alignment.
• Resolve service, delivery, inventory, and operational issues.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse and supply chain efficiency.
• Develop KPIs and track operational performance.
• Drive improvements in cost, service levels, inventory accuracy, and delivery performance.
• Support supply chain process harmonization across U.S. and international operations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Look for candidates with:

• 5–10+ years of experience in supply chain, distribution, logistics, warehouse, or facility operations.
• Experience managing warehouse/distribution operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and demand planning.
• Experience managing 3PLs, freight carriers, transportation, or logistics providers.
• Experience working with distributors or channel partners.
• Strong understanding of OTIF, inventory accuracy, service levels, and supply chain KPIs.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Manufacturing, consumer products, industrial products, packaging, or similar environments would be valuable.
