Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tax, Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney with at least five years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills and the ability to advise individuals, families, fiduciaries, closely held businesses, and charitable organizations on sophisticated estate and tax planning matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle sophisticated estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters.
- Draft estate planning documents and related legal documents.
- Develop customized estate and gift planning strategies.
- Advise high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, and closely held businesses.
- Assist clients with wealth preservation and wealth transfer planning.
- Address tax considerations related to estate and gift planning.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and other professionals.
- Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and client matters.
- Communicate complex legal and tax concepts clearly to clients.
- Provide high-quality legal analysis, research, and written work.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in:
- Estate Planning
- Probate
- Trust Administration
- Licensed to practice in Minnesota or eligible for admission by waiver.
- Strong interest and experience in legal drafting.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, teams, and deadlines.
- Ability to clearly explain complex legal concepts.

Compensation
$245,000–$275,000 base salary, plus a discretionary merit bonus based on performance.
