Tool and Die Supervision

The role involves supervising a skilled team responsible for building, maintaining, and modifying tools, dies, fixtures, molds, and related components. You will oversee machining operations including lathes, mills, grinders, machining centers, and EDM equipment while ensuring tooling performance, quality standards, and production efficiency.

Key responsibilities include coordinating daily departmental activities, prioritizing and assigning work, supporting tooling development and improvements, troubleshooting die-related production issues, and collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams. This role also includes mentoring team members, promoting safety practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker

• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification preferred

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a tool and die environment

• Hands-on expertise with machining equipment including lathe, mill, surface grinder, machining centers, and EDM

• Experience with progressive stamping dies and tooling maintenance

• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SOLIDWORKS preferred) and general computer applications
