Bluebix Health is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry for a contract assignment at URMC – Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN who is comfortable working a Day/Evening/Night (DEN) rotation. Straight shift schedules are not available for this assignment.

The selected RN will provide patient-centered nursing care, monitor patients with telemetry needs, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients.
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly report significant changes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Promote patient safety and follow infection prevention practices.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and treatment plans.

Required Qualifications

• Active NY License required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical (M/S) RN experience – Required
• Previous Telemetry experience – Required
• Current BLS certification – Required
• Ability to work Day/Evening/Night (DEN) rotation
• No straight shift schedules
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
