About the Job:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Value Add Operator to perform labor-intensive manufacturing tasks and operate secondary production equipment to produce high-quality metal stampings and assembled components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing value-added operations safely, efficiently, and within established production standards while maintaining quality and productivity goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Operations:
Perform assigned value-added and secondary manufacturing operations.
Operate various production equipment, including:
Clinching machines:
Welding equipment
Automated assembly machines
Complete tasks according to production schedules and dispatch priorities.
Meet established production run rates and cycle time requirements.
Monitor equipment continuously during operation to ensure safe and efficient performance.
Communication & Coordination:
Communicate effectively with supervisors, material handlers, and team members regarding production needs.
Coordinate material replenishment and removal of finished goods, work-in-process (WIP), and scrap materials.
Report production issues, machine malfunctions, quality concerns, and production interruptions promptly.
Accurately record labor hours, production quantities, and operational data in production systems.
Equipment Inspection & Quality Control:
Conduct routine safety inspections before operating equipment.
Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Verify tooling and equipment readiness prior to production runs.
Follow established quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while on the production floor.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Comply with all operational and quality requirements.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, machine operation, or warehouse experience preferred.
Ability to safely perform physical production tasks in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:
Basic computer skills.
Ability to learn and operate production equipment and manufacturing systems.

Ability to work in a manufacturing and production environment while wearing required PPE.
