About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse organization. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising warehouse personnel, ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining safety standards, coordinating domestic and international shipments, and driving operational efficiency in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.

Lead, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse employees while fostering teamwork and accountability.

Assign daily tasks to maximize productivity and ensure timely customer deliveries.

Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation.

Process inventory transactions, transfers, receipts, and shipping documentation using an ERP system (SAP Business One preferred).

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring proper documentation.

Organize warehouse storage locations to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

Operate and oversee the safe use of forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Enforce OSHA regulations, warehouse safety policies, and housekeeping standards.

Collaborate with Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Service, Sales, and Operations to resolve shipping discrepancies.

Support domestic and international shipments, including export documentation and freight coordination.

Prepare warehouse reports and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and ERP software.

Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, workflow, inventory accuracy, and space utilization.

Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

3–5+ years of warehouse experience, including supervisory or team leadership experience.

Experience managing shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations.

Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety practices.

Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and general computer applications.

Experience using ERP systems for inventory management (SAP Business One preferred).

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform warehouse-related physical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in wholesale distribution, logistics, industrial products, waterworks, irrigation products, or HDPE piping systems.

Knowledge of inventory management, warehouse automation, barcode scanners, and handheld devices.

Experience with international shipping, export logistics, and export documentation.

Working knowledge of SAP Business One warehouse and inventory modules.

OSHA certification or other warehouse-related certifications.
