Overview
We are seeking a Workday Integration Developer to design, build, and support enterprise-level integrations within a Workday environment. This role partners closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable integration solutions across financial and enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain inbound and outbound Workday integrations
- Build and support financial and enterprise integrations aligned with Workday architecture
- Participate in the full SDLC including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
- Create and maintain technical and functional documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve production integration issues with quick turnaround
- Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
- Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and architectural standards
- Senior / Lead Level Responsibilities (if applicable)
- Act as a Workday Integration subject matter expert
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members
- Support integration strategy, solution design, and long-term maintainability
Required Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience with Workday Integrations
- Strong knowledge of Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Integration Security, Workday Security Framework, Calculated Fields, Business Processes, and Reporting including BIRT
- Experience with APIs and web services such as SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience Levels
- Mid-Level: 2+ years of Workday integration experience
- Senior: 5+ years of relevant experience
- Lead: 8+ years of relevant experience with leadership exposure
Preferred Skills
- Java-based integrations and enterprise application development
- OpenShift or Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Maven, Jenkins
- Oracle PL/SQL
- CI/CD automation tools
- Monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk or APM solutions
- Linux environments
- Experience with Workday financial modules or PRISM
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered
