workers' compensation Attorney

This is a full-time, hybrid role focused on employers’ liability and workers’ compensation. The position involves managing a caseload, providing legal advice, conducting in-depth legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in hearings and trials.

We are seeking candidates with 5–10 years of experience who are comfortable handling a caseload of approximately 120–125 matters. The role requires working closely with clients to understand and achieve their goals. Some travel is required, as cases are handled across the state of Illinois.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to the Illinois Bar
• Good standing with the Illinois Bar
• Strong knowledge of law and ability to provide sound legal advice
• Experience in legal research and case preparation
• Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
• Prior experience in workers' compensation or employer liability law is a plus
